Welcome

Let's talk about ACEs

Adverse Childhood Experiences have been shown to negatively impact both physical and mental health into adulthood.

Though abuse, neglect, and household dysfunction are common (70 % of kids and adolescents have at least one by age 16), research shows that resilience can be taught.

"What's predictable is preventable".

First, we mitigate the impacts of childhood trauma by providing the training organizations need to meet their target population with unconditional positive regard and empathy, reducing the risk of re-traumatization.

Next, we pair that transformative mindset shift with practical research-based strategies that focus on sensory regulation. Children and adults who feel empowered through felt-safety, healthy coping, and having their basic needs met are free to move from merely surviving to thriving.

 Empowering Systems

Education is an ever-changing landscape of programs and initiatives. But, one thing remains constant- if children's basic needs aren't met, they simply can't thrive.

That's where we come in. This trauma-informed, sensory-focused training empowers staff with the research-based strategies needed to meet all kids where they are and address their needs to feel safe, heard, and cared for.

These research-based trainings and tools provide a preventive approach to resilience within your organization.

Testimonials from Clients

What Our Clients Have to Say

Elizabeth W., Educator

I can now look for connections between what I know about students' personal lives and really reflect on how their home lives could possibly be affecting their learning or behavior. This training has deepened my empathy and strengthened my relationships with my students and the students' caregivers. It means so much to them to know that their teacher truly "sees" their child.

Christine T., South Carolina Montessori Association

We cannot thank you enough for your wonderful presentation at our annual conference. We have received such positive feedback. It was truly a pleasure working with you.
